Hey, did you hear? They say the Era of the Wind has come. Although I don't really believe in prophecies, I've always been curious about what they mean by “the Era of the Wind.” What's supposed to change? A friend of mine took me to a harbor in Sasebo to find out for ourselves.
The excitement grew as we were welcomed by the concierge. I wonder what's in store for us.
The yacht seems to glide effortlessly over the calm sea. We are mesmerized by the contrast of the blue sky against the blue of the sea. A gentle breeze dances across deck. The light is warm and comfortable. I stand on tiptoe and stretch to the sky. As the yacht reaches open waters, the engine is cut and the sails are raised to the wind. With the sounds of the rolling waves, I become one with the sea.
Cheers to our never-ending journey and cheers to our friendship. We treat ourselves to the power of the sea and the wind
Just like the vast ocean, we should be who we are. Not being tied to one place or one set of values. In this moment I escape my own frame of mind, I truly begin to understand what matters most to me.
I feel like I can say “thank you,” “I'm sorry,” and “I love you” from the bottom of my heart.
We're already talking about our next trip onboard even before getting back to the shore. We are still midway through our journey.
